Abbie Campanile

I started to dabble in crossfit in 2009, after realizing the stronger my muscles were, the less pain I had from military related injuries. I got more involved in 2011 when I did the open with a team for the first time, and was hooked by the community, the focus on health, and the drive to always push to the next level while learning more and more every day along the way. My heart moved to coaching quickly because I wanted to share the knowledge and experience crossfit has given me. The more we know about our bodies the more we can fuel them for success and make them a machine that will last us a lifetime!! I am here for all the athletes at JBLM and am proud to be a part of this one of a kind military community here in the Pacific Northwest!

I started my Crossfit journey almost a year after I moved from Russia in 2010. While I was settling down and looking for a job I was also constantly searching not only for a good work out routine but for new fitness and health inspiration. Besides some aerobics, cardio and yoga I've never done anything different but tried to stay active. Free (!) CrossFit classes at JBLM definitely grabbed my attention and I have been part of it since then. While it became more and more popular among people I gained knowledge and experience, so I decided to take it to the next level and interned with coaches. After I passed the course I became a volunteer coach myself. CrossFit and its community gave me way more than just work outs I was looking for but also brought many new awesome friends, new goals and a lot of fun in my every day life. Come on in and say hello!

I started CrossFit during my most recent deployment to Afghanistan, and have been hooked ever since.  CrossFit has brought a level of well-being into my life that I could have never imagined.  I am stronger, faster, and healthier than I have ever been.  I truly enjoy the community mindset of CrossFit, and I have an absolute passion for coaching.  I will stop what I am doing to help anyone who needs it, so if you see me in the box outside of class hours, feel free to stop me and ask for some help!

My name is Ryan Nichols. I'm a medic by day, cross fit coach by night. I began coaching at Crossfit Finish First May, 2015 until October. Since then, I've coached at JBLM. I hold a CF-L1 certificate and a USAW Sports Performance Coach certificate. I fell in love with the community aspect of Crossfit and love sharing that with others.

I've been doing CrossFit for almost 2 years now. I started down in Florida where I'm from and absolutely love it! I'm big into olympic lifting but my area that I absolutely love is gymnastic/bodyweight movements. Coaching is a passion to me, it gives me a chance to help athletes excel and push themselves to their full potential. I love competitions, they give athletes the chance to achieve new PR's in an environment of true Crossfit spirit. It's awesome seeing the community come together!
